Walter The Whale - Hannibal The Shark

Worked on these beautiful illustrated books with the super-talented Danish creative enterpreneur Martin Witt (Design by Witt).
He was the creator of the stories, which dealt with educational topics such as pollution, the power of kindness, self-confidence and overall in finding happiness in the small things. He already designed wooden toys representing the main characters, the books were supposed to spread brand awareness even further.

"Walter the whale" (2018) is the first book, it's about a baby whale travelling around the world spreading happiness to all the kids he encounters, it was very important for this one to make sure every city had its own identity and colour combination. 

"Hannibal the shark" (2019) is the second book of the series and deals with a shark with self-confidence issues. Eventually he finds the confidence thanks to Walter, the whale from the first book. Lots of scenes for this book were set underwater so I had to make sure the spreads looked different and varied throughout the pages.
